Financial Management in Health Systems (ENLC 553)

Course Description

This MS in Health Care Informatics course provides a forum for the exploration and evaluation of the financial environment of the health care industry and how it specifically affects the role of the mid-level manager and health care executive. Additionally, the course will emphasize the development of practical financial analysis skills that will provide students with a foundation for immediate application within the health care delivery system.

This course is taken by students enrolled in the Health Informatics Track and the Health Care Leadership Track. It is replaced by HCIN 547 for students in the Health Care Analytics Track.
