M.S. in Humanitarian Action

The Master of Science in Humanitarian Action (MSHA) was created to respond to the world’s greatest challenges. It launched in Fall of 2022 with 10 students and has continued to grow, inspiring changemakers internationally.
This part-time online master’s degree program helps prepare students for leadership roles who are prepared to tackle all types of humanitarian crises. This program prepares students through cultivating the skills and knowledge needed to help prevent, respond to and recover from complex global humanitarian emergencies. Through a multidisciplinary approach, this program trains professionals to become the type of valued resource, critical thinker and humanitarian leader who top companies and organizations are looking for to help solve some of the world’s biggest challenges.
MS in Humanitarian Action students recognize the need to think holistically about humanitarian crises in a broader context. The curriculum of the Master of Science in Humanitarian Action program teaches students how to assess humanitarian needs, manage the complex landscape of local, national and international challenges and how to design and evaluate innovative solutions.
This program helps those who are motivated to make a difference.
