M.S. in Applied Data Science

The Master of Science in Applied Data Science (MS-ADS) was launched in the Fall of 2020 with 29 new students and today has grown to over 100 active grad students who are working toward earning their degrees. MS of Applied Data Science has been one of the fastest-growing online programs at USD and includes students with a wide range of backgrounds and professional experience.
This part-time online master’s degree program helps prepare students who are new and currently in the field of data science to use advanced skills to uncover valuable insights hidden in the vast amounts of data produced every single day. The program is taught by expert industry practitioners and was developed in close collaboration with key industry and government stakeholders to provide in-depth practical and technical training designed to position graduates for career success in this vitally important and fast-growing field.
