When I started the Master of Science in Cyber Security Operations and Leadership graduate program, I was working full time while my wife was expecting our first child. The program turned out to be the perfect fit for my situation. The faculty and students provided me with a roadmap to enter a highly demanding industry. The skills and knowledge I gained from the courses gave me the confidence I needed to enter the industry with minimal prior experience. Entering with a retail background, my goal was to become an Information Security Analyst by the end of the program. I accomplished that goal by accepting a role as an Information Security Analyst for a healthcare technology company in Irvine, CA. This program and the university played a large part in that accomplishment. I have recommended this program to many friends and one of them will be starting in Fall 2020. I will always be grateful for everything I gained by being associated with the Torero family.
