Adjunct Professor

Dr. Hollandsworth is the Vice President of Security for the Intelligence & Security sector of BAE Systems Inc. Dr. Hollandsworth brings over 26 years of security experience as a cleared defense contractor supporting programs in various government agencies, including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and multiple Intelligence Community (IC) organizations. He has deep experience supporting collateral, SCI, and SAP/SAR programs in multiple security disciplines, including industrial, information, personnel, physical, counterintelligence, insider threat, and cyber security. Dr. Hollandsworth oversees the sector’s security programs, ensuring the protection of its personnel, information & assets through a team of over 100 geographically dispersed security professionals.

Dr. Hollandsworth’s reputation has allowed him to participate in several security community organizations. He was the Professional Services Council (PSC) representative to the National Industrial Security Program Policy Advisory Committee (NISPPAC) MOU group, a member of the executive leadership board of the Industrial Security Committee of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and was Chair of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS International) Defense & Intelligence Council (D&IC). He has previously been a member of a select sub-working group of the NISPPAC dealing with IT certification & accreditation process issues and a member of the National Classification Management Society (NCMS) Information Systems Security Committee (ISSC). Dr. Hollandsworth has also been a member of the Board of Advisors for the National Security Training Institute, a non-profit organization that provides timely and relevant training for security professionals. These committees and working groups have allowed him to build strong relationships within his industries, be a guest speaker in many different forums, and find success in driving the need for convergence between physical and IT security. In addition to these duties, Dr. Hollandsworth is an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego, teaching courses in their cybersecurity leadership & management programs, as well as an adjunct professor at Webster University, teaching courses in their security management program.

Dr. Hollandsworth holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in organizational leadership. He also holds several prestigious certifications in the field, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), Industrial Security Oversight Certification (ISOC) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
