Eva Pereira is the Deputy Chief Data Officer for the City of Los Angeles. She manages the City’s open data program which provides over 1,500 datasets to the research and data science community. She also leads the Data Angels program which connects volunteer data scientists with analytics projects at the City. Prior to joining the City she worked in data roles at Teach for America and Knight Foundation. She holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia SIPA and during her time in graduate school worked at the White House on Open Data initiatives.
