Georgina Yeboah 

Executive Director of the African Forum for Research and Education  in Health (AFREhealth)

Georgina Yeboah is the Executive Director of the African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth) a pan-African interprofessional organization located in Kumasi, Ghana with a focus on excellence in health professions education, research, and service for Africa.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Health Services Administration) and  Master of Business in Administration (Health Services Administration) both from the University of Ghana, a Chartered Administrator and Management Consultant from the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants, Ghana and a member of the Chartered  Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana.

Before joining AFREhealth she worked with the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, Ghana for 25 years as a Health Services  Administrator and later the Deputy Director, HR. She believes that it takes well-motivated and well-equipped employees to meet the health needs of the population. She has played active and key roles at the Ministry of Health and agency levels in the development and dissemination of human resources for health policies and strategies as well as staffing norms.  She has served as a resource person/facilitator in a lot of training programs. She is also a  mentor.
