Course Overview

This course introduces scripting, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted development workflows within healthcare analytics environments. Through a series of structured, project-based assignments, students gain hands-on experience writing maintainable, reusable scripts using the Command Line interface and Python. Students will learn how to integrate AI tools responsibly to accelerate development, debug scripts, and optimize workflows while maintaining data governance and reproducibility. Through applied exploration of real-world healthcare scenarios, students develop the skills needed to design and implement automated solutions that address common challenges in healthcare data analysis and operations.
