Course Overview

This course focuses on leadership and the acquisition of leadership skills. It discusses the role’s theoretical and practical perspectives, introduces interprofessional partnerships and systems-based practice, and examines the nurse leader’s role in population health in more detail. The concepts of ethics, communication, health policy, diversity, equity, and inclusion are emphasized.
