Alec Henning is a cybersecurity engineer whose work focuses on secure systems engineering, DevSecOps, cloud and hybrid security, and compliance automation across defense, research, and enterprise environments. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at ODME Solutions, he supports Navy RMF and RAISE 2.0 programs by building secure delivery pipelines, strengthening cloud-native and hybrid architectures, and implementing automated approaches to compliance and continuous security validation for high-assurance systems.
He has also supported security-focused initiatives at the Georgia Tech Research Institute and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, with experience in vulnerability assessment, infrastructure hardening, and mission-driven cybersecurity engineering. His approach combines strong technical depth with practical, risk-based decision-making to help organizations design and maintain resilient systems.
Alec holds both a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of San Diego. He holds the CISSP, Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and Professional Scrum Master I certifications.
