Alec Henning is a cybersecurity engineer with extensive experience in securing critical systems across defense, research, and enterprise environments. At ODME Solutions, he supports Navy RMF and RAISE 2.0 programs by designing resilient DevSecOps pipelines, architecting hardened cloud-native environments, and implementing automated compliance solutions for high-assurance systems. His work spans the full secure system development lifecycle—from threat modeling and control selection to ATO preparation and post-deployment monitoring—ensuring mission readiness, operational resilience, and regulatory alignment.

Alec has also contributed to security-focused projects at Georgia Tech Research Institute and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, specializing in vulnerability assessment, infrastructure hardening, and secure CI/CD integration. His approach blends systems engineering principles with practical, risk-based decision-making to help organizations design and deploy resilient infrastructure.

He holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of San Diego. He has Security+ and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications, and is currently pursuing the CISSP certification. Alec brings a mission-driven, automation-forward mindset to his work. He is passionate about mentoring future cybersecurity professionals and bridging the gap between technical depth and real-world application.
