Why USD?
USD’s M.Ed. program mission of academic excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to equity and inclusion resonates deeply with me. Having served in the educational field as a K-12 principal, STEAM Director and Higher Ed Administrator, these areas of focus were key to my success. I’m happy to lead and collaborate with educators in the field to prepare future generations academically, socially, technologically and more.
Advice?
My advice for future students is to remember, communication is key! USD professors are always open to connect with students. Reach out to your professors if you have questions, concerns, suggestions, or to say hello. We are here to support you and your learning!
Fun fact about yourself?
I love to write in my spare time. I have self-published a biography, co-authored a young adult novel, and I’m working on another biography. I’m also developing a Virtual Reality app!
