David Smith is a highly accomplished professional who currently works as a Technology Director for the U.S. Navy. In his role, he has made significant contributions to modernizing software development practices, including the establishment of DevSecOps Software Factories. He has also played a key role in building data science and machine learning capabilities and modernizing design and development efforts for enterprise business systems.
From 2003 to 2017 Mr. Smith was Principal Owner and Director of Operations of Prometheus Information Technology Inc., an Information Technology company focused on software development in the commercial, defense, energy/utilities, and financial sectors.
David’s dedication and expertise have earned him the U.S. Civilian Service Commendation Medal for his leadership in establishing DevSecOps Architecture and infrastructure services.
