Why USD? What prompted you to want to teach for USD’s online MEd program?
I had the privilege of obtaining my graduate degree at USD. I’ve been surrounded by phenomenal professors who continue to mentor me and also strong peer relationships that I continue to grow with. I am grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward to teach others and share my learning. It takes a village!
Advice for Future Students?
Build relationships with your students. Strive to start from your heart when making decisions regarding your students and act with love. Be courageous and don’t get discouraged. Never stop advocating for your students and teach them how to use their voices to advocate for themselves. Step back and empower them. They are capable and so are you!
