About
Dr. Esmaeili obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of California-Davis. The focus of his research was to build probabilistic and machine learning models to take into account the effects of climate change on the characteristics of a hurricane in the upcoming years and losses to the structures.
He was a data science consultant at Accenture, where he was helping clients from different industries to add value to their businesses through a data-driven solution. Notable examples are developing solutions for Bacardi, Chewy, Circle-K, Ford, etc. He has recently joined Deloitte as a data science consultant, where he is providing novel deep learning solutions, computer vision, and natural language processing frameworks for different industries.
What advice do you have for students considering USD’s Applied Artificial Intelligence online degree program?
