Dr. Raheleh Dilmaghani holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she specialized in enhancing communication systems for emergency response. She also earned a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Colorado State University (CSU), focusing on computer networks. Dr. Dilmaghani is a System Engineer Level II certified professional and an IEEE Senior Member. Her leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the IEEE Computer Society San Diego.
With over a decade of experience in wireless communication and networking, Dr. Dilmaghani has a proven track record in designing and developing solutions to boost network performance and policy-aware service composition. Her expertise extends to reviewing contract deliverables, managing schedules and overseeing project performance. She has proposed and chaired multiple workshops on next-generation wireless communication and mobile cloud technologies and has contributed as a Technical Committee member. Her research is well-published in IEEE, ACM, and other prominent journals, and she holds several patents. Additionally, Dr. Dilmaghani is skilled in proposal writing and evaluation, technical documentation development and executive briefings.
Dr. Dilmaghani is also a dedicated mentor, having guided numerous graduate students from UCSD and other leading institutions. She has been instrumental in securing financial support for students, helping them advance their research and educational pursuits.
