The University of San Diego (USD) is excited to announce a new partnership with global education services partner AVENU Learning to bring a suite of USD’s online degrees to English-speaking learners in India. The initial launch, which is slated for May of 2024, will include four in-demand postgraduate degrees from USD’s world-renowned Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering and Division of Professional & Continuing Education:

AVENU Learning will collaborate with USD to tailor the entire student experience for Indian learners – from recruitment to coursework to faculty. The goal of the partnership is to provide a high-quality, asynchronous learning experience from a top-ranked, U.S.-accredited university at an accessible price point for Indian students.

“Expanding the borders of education is deeply tied to USD’s mission. With accelerating technological innovation and government initiatives like the National Education Policy, we recognize that higher education in India is at a period of rapid transformation. Increasing numbers of students in India are turning to online learning as a way to earn a high-quality degree regardless of their location, and that’s why USD is proud to partner with AVENU to make that dream more accessible,” said Dean Chell Roberts, Ph.D., Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering.

Jade Roth, CEO, AVENU Learning said of the partnership, “AVENU’s mission is to expand access to high-quality, affordable online education that is tailored to the needs of the learner, regardless of their location. Given USD’s experience in online education and institutional focus on paving pathways to career success for both its online and campus-based learners, USD was a natural partner for AVENU. We look forward to supporting the first cohort of USD online learners in India in 2024.”
