Cindy DeMarco, EdD

Cindy DeMarco, EdD is an Organizational Change Management Consultant with Hitachi Solutions and Augment Solutions, where she leads change advisory engagements with clients across the United States and Canada. Her work focuses on change readiness, communication, and both onsite and online learning and development, helping organizations effectively adopt and sustain digital transformation initiatives.

Cindy brings a blended background in higher education leadership, corporate learning and development, and organizational strategy. Prior to joining Hitachi, she worked with Augment Solutions, Hands On IT, ADAPTOVATE, Insperity, United States University, Argosy University, National University, and the Federal Reserve Bank. She has also partnered with a broad range of organizations including Microsoft, Habitat for Humanity, Yahoo!, Aegis, and Saul Ewing.

Her early career centered on andragogical eLearning strategies and instructional design. Over time, she has evolved her focus to integrating people, systems, and culture for performance optimization and sustainable change.

Cindy holds a Doctorate of Education in Human Resource Development and Organizational Change from George Washington University, as well as a master’s and bachelor’s degree from Towson University in Maryland. She has completed several professional certifications, including FMI Executive Coaching, LeadRight, AMA – Accounting & Finance for Leaders, and is Hogan HBRI certified. Recently, she completed Ethics in the Age of Generative AI and the Post-Merger Integration Module through the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA).

Cindy lives in San Diego, California.She has 16 legs (two dogs and two cats) and daughter, Dylan; a recent college graduate off to law school.
