About
Ed Addison is an experienced educator and entrepreneur with more than 35 years of teaching as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, NC State University, the University of San Diego, and several other institutions at various times. His courses span engineering management, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship, blending academic insight with practical application.
In industry, Ed has founded and led five artificial intelligence companies over the past three decades, guiding ventures from early innovation through funding and exit. He previously served as Director of the AI Lab at Booz Allen Hamilton, has authored three U.S. patents in AI, and has been recognized for his contributions to the field as a board member of the American Society for Artificial Intelligence (ASFAI) and as a member of the AI-150 list of global leaders shaping the future of AI.
