Dr. Lisa Evans has been professionally connected to the field of educational/instructional technology since the mid-1990s and has experience in instructional design and eLearning, curriculum development, content production for online platforms, online teaching, and research. As an instructional designer she enjoys working on course design/re-design, consulting with faculty on the integration of technology to facilitate communication and collaboration, and building multimedia assets that support student learning. In her role as an online instructor, she is interested in the concept of teaching presence and its relation to online student success. Lisa received her BA from UCLA, a Master’s in Educational Communication and Technology from NYU, a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University Fullerton and a PhD in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia.
