Why USD? What prompted you to want to teach for USD’s online M.Ed. program?
I began my career as a lecturer in the Ethnic Studies department at USD. It was during that time that high school students taking my course recruited me to be a teacher in the High Tech High system. After investing in my training as a high school teacher, I path once again led me back to USD, first as a lecturer in SOLES, and then to the Online MEd program. I have enjoyed every minute.
Advice for Future Students?
Do your best to get into a routine that balances work and play. Set aside time to get your work done, spend time with your loved ones, and take care of yourself.
Fun fact about yourself?
I love going to concerts. Some favorites include Joni Mitchell, Earth Wind and Fire, and of course, the late great Prince!
