Dr. Patty Jiménez collaborates with the USCCB Subcommittee on Hispanic Affairs as a consultant in Communications for the Fifth National Encuentro of Hispanic Ministry. She has ministered for over 27 years in the areas of youth ministry, catechesis, and teaching and administering lay formation programs. Patty is bilingual, has experience in parish, academia, and diocesan ministry and collaborates with many national Catholic organizations.
She received her doctorate in Ministry specializing in Hispanic/Latino Theology and Ministry at Barry University in Miami, Florida, a Master’s in Theological Studies and a Master’s in Ministry for a Multicultural Church from the Franciscan School of Theology. She is a Franciscan Spiritual Director and the Founder of Recetas, a community for U.S.- born or raised Latinas focusing on spirituality and self-care.
