SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The University of San Diego is proud to announce its #9 ranking on Fortune Education’s list of Best Online Master’s in Cybersecurity Degrees in 2022.

A total of 20 programs made the list.
The University of San Diego offers two cybersecurity master’s degree programs — the 100% online Master of Science in Cyber Security Operations and Leadership and the online or on-campus Master of Science in Cyber Security Engineering.
The Master of Science in Cyber Security Operations and Leadership is designed for career-focused professionals interested in gaining a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, topics and theories — in addition to desired leadership skills.
Those who are interested in a wide range of cybersecurity roles — or who aspire to become a security engineer — should consider USD’s Master of Science in Cyber Security Engineering. This program is especially suited for those with an engineering background who wish to effect positive change on the front lines of cybersecurity.
USD’s Master of Science in Cyber Security Engineering program has also been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity by the federal government. Colleges and universities that receive this designation have met rigorous requirements and are recognized for a robust curriculum that is aligned with the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.
Each CAE-designated program equips students with the necessary skills, knowledge and tools to succeed in cybersecurity.
Both USD programs provide students with essential knowledge and tools and are taught by skilled cybersecurity practitioners who have extensive industry experience. In addition, both programs offer flexibility with an online option and allow students to earn their master’s degree in just 20 months.
